B-17 Commission

Here are a couple of images progressing my latest plane as art series. Originally the concept was more about a portrait of the planes rather than a technical representation. But with this piece I have tried to make the work as authentic as possible. Looking at hundreds of pictures, and videos of these planes in the air. There is a lot of stuff out there on the B-17 but also a lot pertaining to a lot of others. Rather than the info I need for this commission. But still it’s been fun. I hope to have this painting finished in the next few days. Then drying time for it’s journey to Texas USA.
